10th Annual Festival Line up for 2022

In 2022, guests will enjoy local artists singing original rock and country songs!  Here’s the Lineup:

BENNETT BROTHERS – Two brothers and one friend make up this Country/Classic Rock band from Update South Carolina!

ADJACENT HAYS – Husband and wife duo Kraig and Britt Hayhurst, make up the name Adjacent Hays. You can find rock variety tunes from acoustic and full band sets along with bass player Greg Bishop and drummer Glen Dupree in the upstate of South Carolina.

BRAND NEW RELIC – A talented, fun, diverse and engaging Classic Rock Cover band, with original music. A proven set, provides a great atmosphere, and an increasing fanbase. Reasonable flat rate for the 1st booking.

HANNAH PEEPLES – Soulful, country sounds to get the crowd swaying.

KEVEN MACK – A mix of rock, country, and a little bit of everything in between.

ANDREW DIXON – Andrew Dixon has just released his latest single “Worth a Try.” A Georgia native, Dixon grew up living out the typical themes in country songs. Growing up on a farm, activities like fixing trucks, fishing, and hunting were very common, and his lifestyle heavily influenced his music. In 2021, Dixon dropped his first two singles, “Gambling on Our Hearts” and “Country Boy Prayin.’

3 & TWENTY – 3 and Twenty’s music transcends the limited boundaries of traditional and contemporary genres. It is Country Music at its highest evolutionary level that cross reverberates with a unique blend of Pop, R&B, Southern Rock, and Hip Hop. Combine their undying passion for song writing with a high energy, must see live show, and you have something that can’t be explained… it must be experienced.

Founded by longtime bandmates and business partners, Adrian Lee and Butch Gibson, in January 2010 in a small home studio on a backwoods country road (Three and Twenty Road) in Easley, South Carolina. Lee and Gibson were hell-bent on writing real, heartfelt, music that embodies their life experiences while striving to create a sound that is new and fresh, yet familiar, but also different enough that you really can’t compare them to anybody, but try to compare them to everybody.

The real-life storylines and true musicianship are penetratingly relevant to all who hunger and thirst for honesty and realism in what 3 and Twenty believes matters most… the MUSIC. Beyond what is known as a “rags to riches” journey, 3 and Twenty’s pursuit of perfection in their music presents the listener with an insightful maturity combined with the simplicity of raw emotion, confidently delivered by two small town seasoned music veterans that have spent over two decades perfecting their craft.

Through years of persistent grass roots campaigns and as direct support for national headliners 3 and Twenty has become a regional and national touring powerhouse with a professional and hard working reputation that garners the utmost respect from their fans, peers, agents, and venue owners. From national tours to writing with some of the best songwriters in Nashville over the past three years, 3 and Twenty is poised to make some serious noise in an industry that is craving authenticity and originality.

Where can I find this amazing Festival?

The music festival takes place at the Hartwell Lakeside Resort which was formerly called Hart State Park, 330 Hart State Park Road in Hartwell, GA. This will be the third year this event is held at the new resort area and is a move from the festival’s location in previous years at the end of Old 29. The location offers entry by land and water and plenty of tree shade. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and tent if desired (no coolers or glass please).

In addition to the music, there are food vendors, beer & wine, crafts for sale, and free activities for the kids. This year’s festival is sure to be a blast as we are all finally allowed to get back to a sense of normalcy.

Why Lake Hartwell Music Festival?

The first Lake Hartwell Music Festival was in 2012, and it’s been a tradition in Hartwell ever since. Lake Hartwell boasts 56,000 acres of water, and millions flock to fish and play on the lake every year.

A music festival seemed a natural addition to summer’s festivities and is hosted by HYDRA, a non-profit youth organization, and it’s many wonderful volunteers! Dubbed a ‘Party With A Purpose,’ the event raises funds for HYDRA which stands for Hart Youth Development Resource Association. HYDRA runs year-round programs to educate and support local children, and the festival is their main fundraising event.

What do I need to bring?

Guests are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets, and tent if desired. The event is entirely outdoors, and there is plenty of space to spread a blanket and enjoy the day.

The outdoor environment makes it easy to social distance, and additional measures are being taken to protect attendees from that nasty virus.

A custom stage will be placed beneath massive oak trees so that the musicians and guests will have a nice covering from the sun. Nearby, food concessions are available with plenty of picnic tables and a promenade of local artisans and free kids’ activities.
